"What drives my work is a desire to bring artistry and beauty into everyday moments through functional ceramics. Every piece that leaves my studio has been shaped, decorated, glazed, and fired by my own hands — made to be touched, used, and loved."

Maria Soliman — Stone Fire Studio

Made in Iowa,
with love and clay.

Stone Fire Studio is the at-home studio of Maria Soliman in North Liberty, Iowa. What drives her work is a desire to bring artistry and beauty into everyday moments through functional ceramics — inspired by both nature and science, expressed in mountain scapes, floral motifs, and carefully considered surface patterns.

Each piece begins on the wheel or by hand, shaped from porcelain or stoneware, and passes through fire more than once before it's done. She shares her studio with two very opinionated poodles, Piper and Lulu, who handle quality control and are compensated in biscuits.
